On Humility

I wish I was humble. That's one thing to Allah that, you know, if I can be more humble. And humility is actually an additional quality. People think that the baseline is humility. Humility is actually an additional quality. You can be not arrogant but not humble at the same time. It's possible to be not arrogant and not humble. The mark of a truly humble person is someone who's got power but decides to humble themselves. Not someone who's got no power. Because it's like if I see somebody who's like homeless in the street and they, "Oh, he's a very humble person." No, we don't know if he's humble or not.

Mohammed HijabAnd you know, like people don't realize in those moments how euphoric you would be. You'd feel like after 13 years of wars and wars and wars and now it's the time. Like, I think I'd lose my mind when you're in a situation where you've been in war for 12 years, 13 years and now you're... you're conquering the thing.
