Mohammed HijabBest combination. Latin America is a place where you don't see that many Muslims here, you see? We should investigate this area more and more. We want to do Dawah here. We want to empower the people already doing Dawah here. But we also want to investigate this area of the world.

Latin America as a Civilization

Mohammed HijabBut civilizationally, I mean, Samuel P. Huntington mentioned that in his, uh, in his book that this is one of the civilizations. Latin America, he actually demarcated that as one of seven civilizations which have these distinct characteristics. We, the Muslim people, have our voices heard in that. Because also it, uh, impacts geopolitics, impacts demography, impacts everything. So, I think the need for our presence to be felt here.

Pro-Palestine Sentiment

Mohammed HijabAnd one thing I will say, and I think we've both noticed this, is that there's very pro-Palestine here, bro. Very, very, very everywhere.

Mohammed HijabYou see it. Pro-Palestine, pro-Palestine. There's a lot of street graffiti. The street graffiti in Peru, yeah, in the towns, in the cities. So, look, I mean, these guys are not... I don't think there's a hostility towards Muslim people like you find anywhere near as much as they have in the US.
