The Drop Out Apologist
Mohammed HijabAccording to the Quran, if Muhammad is uncertain about what the Quran is relating, especially in regards to the previous prophets, the previous histories, their stories and yada yada yada, then he can get clarity on his doubts by going to the people who read the scripture before him and asking them about these things.
So this means that if he doubted and went to them and they told him the opposite of what the Quran was saying, then this would actually verify his doubts and he wouldn't have good reason to trust what the Quran is saying regarding. Right?
Weak Arguments
Mohammed HijabThis is so weak. You have to understand how if-then works. If-then is a principle in logic, and it's a principle in which is what is known in diametric opposition. It's not actually true that if I say, for example, if you drink this hot tea, then you'll be in a position you have to go to the toilet. It doesn't mean that if I don't drink the hot tea, that I will definitely not go to the toilet, does it?
So what you're saying is not biconditional. There's no reason for you to think it's biconditional, that it works in a symmetrical manner. This is the weakness of Christian apologetics nowadays. You can't even think logically. The problem is you can't even actually think properly. If you did propositional logic course 101 in school before you flunked out and did whatever you done, if you understood how biconditionality works, then you wouldn't come with these weak arguments.
