HostYou have become a symbol of Islam and Muslims, and you're an ambassador for Islam.
Mohammed HijabI hope not, man. Honestly, I hope that people don't connect Islam with me directly, but I understand the need for me to kind of behave myself. Yeah, people might say, "Okay, you know this about yourself. You've said it many times. Being self-reflective and intro, however, why haven't you changed?"
Mohammed HijabTruth is, I've got a program where I'm trying to change, really. I've got an actual written accountability program where every single week I'm trying to become sober, calm, more reflective, you know, all these kind of things. I'm telling you, it's just not easy for me to do that, but I'm trying.
Mohammed HijabSo, it's not like, okay, I've outlined the problem. I'm rambunctious. Sometimes I can be quite disrespectful. Sometimes I can be overly loud and extroverted. Sometimes I can all those kind of things. And I just leave it at that. And there, you know, whatever it is what it is. It's not, it's not "is what it is" because I am trying to change that.
Mohammed HijabLike, for example, one week I will look at my behavior and I'll actually scrutinize what I've done. I say, "What could you have done better?" It genuinely is hard for me not to be in a conflict, in a conflict situation. It's hard.
HostInner conflict.
Mohammed HijabI get bored.
