Criticizing New Converts

Mohammed HijabThere's a sister, her name is Lily or something like that. She's coming out. And I actually feel sorry for her because she's doing a good job in da'wah. She's bringing a lot of people into Islam and whatever. And then there are some people saying, "Oh, you know, she needs to put on the hijab or she needs to do this, that, and the other." Okay, that's true that she needs to do all of that, but she's just new to Islam.

GuestMhm.

Mohammed HijabYou know, and she's performing a million times better, with all due respect to Andrew, than Andrew Tate was. And she, you know, Andrew Tate had the, uh, what do you call it? He had the fame already coming into Islam, and he, you know, he was on the speedboat with whatever he was on the speedboat with. You know, that's a different story. But, you know, this sister, she's coming to Islam and now she's bringing a lot of people. She's actually doing da'wah. And I feel kind of sorry for her because, you know, I've seen people abuse the sister on Twitter, like, you know, attack her and this and that. And, um, I know she's also married, she's got a husband that is, you know, helping her and supporting her and stuff like that. But the fact is that it's not the right way of dealing with it. So if everybody came and said, "Okay, well, she's not wearing a hijab, therefore all of us need to come out and attack her on that point."

GuestMhm.

Mohammed HijabOkay. So then what does it do for the future of Islam? Like it gives nobody a chance to develop.
